Seems as if my cat is losing some hair on his belly and now on his ear. He is indoor ONLY and does not seem to be sick or have any mites or bugs. Could it just be his aging???

Have you ever seen him scratching his ear like a dog with fleas? That part would probably be caused by dry skin. Give him some fish oil on top of his food and the dry skin will go away in a week or two. I don't know about the belly though, i would need to give your cat a checkup.
