Thinning hair can be caused by a number of things. Your thyroid could be underactive, if you had surgery and had anthestetic, that can cause hair to thin. Hormones, medication, and just plain age and heredity can all play a part in thinning hair. I have never heard of too much time in front of the computer causing thinning hair, so I am sure that isn't the problem. If your hair was coming out in handfuls, I would suggest to have blood work done. But you are to lose 100 hairs a day, but the ones you lose have already replenished themselves. Hope this helps!

Thinning hair can be caused by many things. If balding runs in your family, it might be that. Stress and diet are also major factors. You might have to see a doctor to find out for sure what is going on.

Losing hair does not mean you are going bald it may be cause by a number of things lack of vitamins, stress diet, are all good examples other things may be, the stress you put on your hair do you straighten it every day or blow dry how much product do you put in it how often do you wash it what about wearing it up all of these things may damage your hair and cause it to thin majorly
