How often do you brush your hair compared to your hairstylist? If you brush your hair often, hair falls out there too....the loose ones. If you don't brush that often, your loose hair comes out when you shampoo it. That's perfectly normal. Sounds to me like your stylist is trying to talk you into buying a product of somekind to help with that when you probably don't need it. You aren't going bald.

However if you are worried about it, get a strengthening shampoo and especially the conditioner. Fine hair breaks off easier, so you need to toughen it up a little. And don't bleach your hair. If you bleach your hair a lot over a long period of time you actually can loose your hair. Don't perm your hair either if you can help it.

Even if you take perfect care of your hair, it is still going to come out when you shampoo it. That's perfectly fine and normal. Unless when it's dry and you can tell a huge difference, then there is not a problem.

I dont know. But when I come my hair [Its not straight i really have an afro]

it falls out

and when I shampoo my hair

it falls out.

Im not sure if its normal. But

instead of asking your hair dresser. ask a doctor.

I think they have some kind out drug that keeps your hair from falling out

The average human head has about 100,000 hair follicles. Each follicle can grow about 20 individual hairs in a person's lifetime. Average hair loss is about 100 strands a day.

So I don't think it's a big deal or something bad and so my hairstylist says.

I have wavy hair and after shampooing my head I see more than 10 each time, in my hands. It's just more noticeable while you shampoo or comb than not really do anything to it.

Don't worry.

And I agree, better ask a doctor not hairstylist.

it also depends what shampoo do you use.

hey it is common here are some of the things that you can do to strenghten your hair and prevent them from falling prematurely. you should not bath in very hot water as it damges hair, plus brush your hair whenever you can as it is good exercise for the hair, but not when they are wet. use hair oil, egg or yogurt for your hair as it strengthens them. if you have lost lots of hair you can use the following products. good luck with your problem.

it's normal. everyone has a large amount of hair loss, every single day. especially when you shampoo because your pulling and rummaging through the hair. i wouldnt worry about it. i lose about the amount in the shower too, probably more.
