Anyone have alopecia? b/f lost a patch of hair? what happened??

my boyfriend got his hair cut a while back and we noticed a bald patch well the barbor did while cutting.

it was about 1inch by 1inch perfectly round, well everytime he touches it hair strands fall out.

there was hair on his tail while drying off from shower.

he is only losing hair around the patch now its about 3inch tall by 2 inch wide.

if you touch it it falls out, but if you pull his hair anywhere else on his head it dont come out????

He needs to go see a dermatologist, or his famiily doc. Maybe he has a fungal infection of the scalp in that region, such as ringworm, and all he needs is a cream to place over the region. It sounds like this is the case, and if it is the hair will grow back.

Please go in and get this evaulated asap.

there is no cure for this and all of his hair could possibly fall out, even the eyebrows, lashes,and down there too
